Answer:

Let the width be x.

Length of tablecloth = x + 4

Area of tablecloth = 45 sq. feet

=> x (x + 4) = 45

=> x² + 4x = 45

=> x = 5

Hence, width of tablecloth = 5 feet

Length of tablecloth = 9 feet

ANSWER : Width = \sqrt{45}/2

                   Length= 2\sqrt{45}

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of tablecloth = 45 square foot.

let the width be x. So length = 4x.

We know that area = length * width.

So,

    45=x*4x.

    45=4x^2

    x^2=45/4

    x =  \sqrt{45/4}

    x = \sqrt{45}/2

 Therefor width = \sqrt{45} /2

& we know that length= 4x.

                                       =4*\sqrt{45} /2\\2*\sqrt{45}
