Let one parallel side be x m
Then,other side is (x-1)m
Height=4m
Area=10m
Area of trapezium=1/2(sum of parallel sides)(distance between them)
10=1/2(x+x-1)×4
10=1/2(2x-1)×4
10=1/2(8x-4)
10=4x-2
10+2=4x
12=4x
x=12/4=3
one side=3m
other side=3-1=2m
Then,other side is (x-1)m
Height=4m
Area=10m
