a tailor had 10 m of cloths. he used 2m 40 cm and 2m and 60cm a make two shirts. how much cloth was left ?

10m=1000cm
2m40cm=240cm
2m60cm=260cm

1000-(240+260)=1000-500=500cm
5m cloth is left

Cloth he had = 10 m = 1000 cm

Cloth he used for first shirt = 2m 40cm = 240 cm

Cloth he used for second shirt = 2m 60 cm = 260 cm

Total length of cloth he used = 240 + 260 = 500 cm

Cloth left = Length of cloth he had - Length of cloth he used = 1000 - 500 = 500 cm = 5 m ✔✔✔
