Let velocity of A is a, and velocity of B is b.
Time taken by A to cover 30 kms. = 30/a
Time taken by B to cover 30 kms. = 30/b
After doubling the velocity, time taken by A = 30/(2a)
Now we have two equations
(30/a)= (30/b)+3
(30/2a)= (30/b)-(3/2)
Solving equations gives,
a= (10/3)km/h
b= 6km/h
Hope this helps you
