A tank is 3/5 of water 40 L more water is required to fill it up completely how many litres can the tank hold

Let full tank has x L water.

ATQ,

3/5 (40 + x) = x - 40

24 + 3/5x + 40 = x

120 + 200 = 2x

2x = 320

x = 160 L

The tank can hold 160 L
