Hi,

Here is your answer

Let the tank can hold x lit.
The tank is filled one third of full with oil.
So, no. of liters in the tank = x/3 lit
After taking out 7 lit
No. of liters becomes on fourth = x/4 lit
According to the sum
x/3 - 7 = x/4
(x - 21)/3 = x/4
4x - 84 = 3x
x = 84 lit

Therefore the tank can hold 84 lit.

Hope this helps you.
