initial velocity of each drops=0m/s
hence at height of 5 m it takes a time ' t'
Hence ½gt² = 5
or 10*t²=10
or t²=10/10
or t=1
since first drop toches
the ground when 3rd drop just leave
time interval between consecutive
drops = ½sec
hence distance traveled by 2nd drop from tap
=½*10*(½)²
= 10/8
= 1.25 meter from tap...
Hence when third drop just to left
the second drop
