Hence Assam tea in 49 kg mixture=49x5/7=35 kg

Darjeeling tea in 49 kg mixture=49x2/7=14 kg

Let X kg of Darjeeling tea be added to make the ratio 2:1

Hence 35/(14+X)=2/1

pr 35=28+ 2X

i.e. X=3.5 kg
