Advantages of Synthetic Fibres

(i)Synthetic fibers have good elasticity.

(ii)They don't wrinkle up easily.

(iii)Fabrics made from these fibres are less expensive, durable and readily available in comparison to natural fibers.

(iv)Synthetic fibers can handle the heavy load without breaking.

(v)They don't shrink.

Disadvantages: (i) Synthetic fibres do not absorb water or sweat. In hot and humid weather therefore the clothes made of synthetic fibre stick to the body and make the wearer uncomfortable.
