The answer is 15, I don't really have an explanation because the question can be different than yours. My question was the same but it had a pie chart so yeah. I'll explain how I got that using the question I had.

So 3 pupils = 27 degrees and the pupils that said that maths was their favourite subject was 135 degrees. All I did was divided 135 by 27= 5 and then multiplied that by 3 so 5x3= 15.

Hope this helped! Sorry i'm not the best when it comes to explaining lol.

15 pupils said maths was their favourite subject

GIVEN:- PIE CHART

TO FIND:- how many pupils said maths was their favourite subject

SOLUTION:-

As we can observe that 27° is equal to the number of pupils who said PE was their favourite subject.

Which means,

27° = 3 pupils

According to the unitary method

 =  \frac{3}{27}  \\  =  \frac{1}{9}

And we can observe that 135° is equal to the number of pupils who said maths was their favourite subject.

we need to simply multiply pupils by 1° with 135

Pupils that said maths was their favourite subject

 =  \frac{1}{9}  \times 135 \\  = 15

Hence, 15 pupils said maths was their favourite subject
