Both of them are correct . Because , If (x-1) is a factor then , x = 1
(i) x²°-1 = 0
⇒1²°-1=0
⇒1-1 = 0
⇒ 0 = 0 . So , Rehman is correct .
(ii) x²¹-1 = 0
⇒1²¹-1 = 0
⇒1-1 = 0
⇒0 = 0 . So , Prakash is correct
Therefore , Both of them are correct .
(i) x²°-1 = 0
⇒1²°-1=0
⇒1-1 = 0
⇒ 0 = 0 . So , Rehman is correct .
(ii) x²¹-1 = 0
⇒1²¹-1 = 0
⇒1-1 = 0
⇒0 = 0 . So , Prakash is correct
Therefore , Both of them are correct .
