A tent in the shape of a right circular cylinder up to a height of 3m and conical above it. The total height of the tent is 13.5m and the radius of its base is 14m. Find the cost of cloth required to make the tent at the rate of Rs 2
per square metre.

Total height =13.5m and height of cylinder=3m .so, height of cone=(13.5-3)m=10.5m. now,slant height of cone= √h²+r² =√14²+10.5²=124.5m. Now ,c.s.a of cylinder=2πrh = 2×22\7×14×13.5=1188m². Now c.s.a of cone =πrl =22\7×14×124.5=5478m².Now,total c.s.a=1188+5478=6666m². Now ,cost of cloth =2×6666=13332rupees.
