sin∠ACB = AD/AB

Sin  42° = 0.8/AB

AB = 0.8/ Sin 42°

= 1.2m

So the volume of tent = area of ΔABC x length of tent

= 1/2 x AD x BC x Length of Tent

Length of Tent = 6m

BC = 3m

AD = 0.8m

Volume of tent  = 1/2 x 0.8 x 3 x 6

= 0.4 x 18

= 7.2 m³
