Answer:

He lose 5 points.

Step-by-step explanation:

Each correct answer gets 3 points

Each incorrect answer gets 1 point deducted.

So, the student has answer answered 5 questions incorrectly.

\rm\green{AnsweR} :- 20 Marks

Given,

Total no. of question = 20

Points awarded for correct answer = 3

No. of answers given inncorrectly = 5

To find :

How many points the students lose.

How to find :-

Firstly we have to find the total marks by multiplying the no. of questions with No. of points received in one correct answer. After that we have to find out that how much points gone is in the 5 incorrect answer by multiplying the no. of incorrect answers with 3 points . Now, we know 1 point will get deducted from total in each inncorrect answer. So, add the 5 marks in the deducted marks. We will get the answer.

Solution :-

No. of question = 20

Points in each question = 3

Total marks in the test = 20 × 3 = 60 marks.

No. of answers inncorrect = 5

Marks deducted from total = 5 × 3 = 15 points

A/Q

1 point would be deducted .

So,

3 marks added in deducted marks . Now the No. of points deducted = 20 marks.
