Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1 cm = 10 mm

So, 4.2 cm = 42 mm

Thickness of one cover page = 3 mm

As, a book has 2 cover pages,

=> 3*2 = 6 mm

So, thickness of 225 pages,

=> 42-6 = 36 mm

Thickness of one page,

=> 36/225

=> 0.16 mm

there are 2 cover pages

thickness of cover pages=0.05*2 =0.1 cm

other pages =198

thickness=0.005*198=0.99 cm

total thickness= 0.1 +0.99=100 cm = 1m
