Answer

a) The property by virtue of which a material appears shiny is called Lusture

  • There are also other properties that metals shoe like,
  1. Malleable :- Easily we can make them into sheet
  2. Ductile :- Easy to make wires
  3. Conductive :- Good conductors of heat and electricity
  4. Hard and so on...

b) Burning of a candle is an example of a Chemical Change

  • When we burn a candle it becomes a chemical change whereas melting of a candle we call it as a physical change
  • When a candle burns then some wax will get burnt near the wick and so due to this we can't get that burnt candle

c) Motion of a pendulum is an example of Periodic motion

  • So in a periodic motion the body travels equal distances in equal intervals of time and in a pendulum it travels in the same way, same time for each oscillation that's why we use it in clocks
