solution : mass of uniform rod , m = 1kg

length of rod , l = 120cm = 1.2m

we know, moment of inertia of rod about an axis passing through its centre and perpendicular to its length is given by, I=\frac{1}{12}ml^2

= 1/12 × 1 × (1.2)²

= 1/12 × 1.44

= 0.12 kgm²

hence, answer is 0.12 kgm²
