A three and a half metres long rod is to be cut into two pieces ,one piece is to be bent into a square and the other into an equilateral triangle.the length of a side of both must be same.How should it be cut?

according to question given that the length of rod is 500

will have to obtain that the proportion of cutting it to form a equilateral triangle and the square of same length

then we will have to cut it into 7 equal pieces of the triangle has three sides and the square have four sides

hence we will have to take every length us 7 dividing 500 CM
