A tile is a square of side 20 cm. How many such tiles would be required to cover the floor of a squae bathroom of side 3 m?

Answer: 225 tiles


Step-by-step explanation: side of tile= 20cm. therefore the area of tile= side *side

20*20= 400cm square

Side of bathroom = 3m=300cm

Therefore area of bathroom= 300*300

=90000cm square

Therefore the no. of tiles that can be fit into a bathroom= 90000/400

=225 tiles
