A torch bulb has a resistance of 1ohm . when cold it draws a current of 0.2A from a source of 2V and glows. Calculate the resistance of the bulb when glowing and explain the reason of difference in resistance.

1) by Ohm's law
V = IR
R = V/I
R = 2/0.2 = 10

2) With increase in temperature the resistance of bulb filament increases.
