ANSWER :

The story is about a fox and a tortoise which lived in a forest. One morning, the fox was very hungry and he started searching for food in the jungle. Suddenly, he saw a tortoise roaming on the land. The fox thought of eating the tortoise. The fox ran and caught the turtle. To eat the tortoise, he tried his best to break the tough shell of the tortoise but couldn't.

The tortoise was very clever. He said to the fox - "Hello Fox! Do you want to eat me? So to eat me you should place me in the pond so that my shell becomes soft and you can break it easily and eat me up".

The foolish fox immersed the tortoise in a nearby pond. As soon as the tortoise was placed in the pond, he swam fast and escaped from the fox and laughed at the fox.

Answer:

The Intelligent Turtle and The Hungry Fox

Once upon a time in one of the dense forests of India lived a fox. Every day searching for food was a great deal of work for him. One day just like the other days, he was hungry and was desperately looking for food. While roaming around, he came across a pond and found a turtle roaming there. Driven by hunger, the fox captured the turtle and tried to break its solid shell. But all his efforts turned futile!

The turtle using his intelligence and asked the fox to put him back in the water so that he could soften up to make it easier for the fox to eat him later on. The fox fell into this trap of words. He became excited and took his prey near the pond. He then immersed the turtle in the water who being a superb swimmer, slipped out of the fox’s paws and swam away. He re-emerged again in the middle of the pond and laughed at the fox. The fox understands what the turtle had done remained so foolish and became angry at his own foolishness. The moral of this short story is that presence of mind is important to win in moments of danger.
