A total of 15 pennies are put into four piles so that each pile has a different number of pennies. what is the smallest possible number of pennies that could be in the largest pile

6 if we go on piling.. 1st pile will have 2 pennies.. 2nd pile 3 pennies... 3rd pile 4 pennies and 4th pile 5 pennies....but only 14 pennies are utilized.... 1 is remaining so that remaining on we can place it on 4th pile ..making it a pile of 6 pennies and the largest..
