40 % of the 600 advertisements were in color  if 20% of 200 , 40% of 300 & 80% of 100 were in color

Step-by-step explanation:

20 percent of the first 200 sold were in color

= (20/100) 200

= 40

40 percent of the next 300 sold were in color

= (40/100) 300

= 120

80 percent of the last 100 sold were in color

= (80/100) 100

= 80

total in color = 40 + 120 + 80  = 240

percent of the 600 advertisements  in color = (240/600) * 100

= 40 %

40 % of the 600 advertisements were in color
