a toy is in the form of cone of base radius 3.5 CM mounted on the hemisphere of the base diameter 7 cm if the total height of the toy is 15.5 cm find the total surface area of the toy

assuming that , we break the toy in two parts as cone and hemisphere

let the height of cone be x

l^2 = r^2 + h^2

l =  the whole root of 12.25 + ^2

radius of cone = 3.5 cm

total surface area of a cone = pie * r (r + l)

solve it  and then find total surface area of hemisphere
