A toy is in the shape of a right circular cylinder with a hemisphere on one end and a cone on the other. The radius and height of cylindrical part are 5cm & 13 cm respectively.The radii of hemisphere and conical parts are the same as that of cylindrical part .calculate the surface area of toy of the height of conical part is 12 cm .draw figure

Heya !!

Here's your answer..
___________________

Radius of cylinder = Radius of cone = Radius of hemi sphere = 5cm

Height of cylinder ( h1 ) = 13cm

Height of cone ( h2 ) = 12cm

Slant height of cone ( l )² = r² + h2²

l² = 5² + 12²

l² = 25 + 144

l = √169
l = 13cm

Surface area of figure = C.S.A of cone + C.S.A of cylinder + C.S.A of H.S

= πrl + 2πrh1 + 2πr²

= πr ( l + 2h1 + 2r )

= 22/7 × 5 [ 13 + 2(13) + 2(5) ]

= 22/7 × 5 [ 13 + 26 + 10 ]

= 22/7 × 5 [ 49 ]

= 22 × 5 × 7

= 110 × 7

= 770 cm²
