What will be his profit/loss if he sells the chair at 90% of its listed price?

Let list price is 100

Selling price (SP) at discount = 100-28 = Rs 72

Therefore Cost price = 72/90 x 100 = 80

When chair is sold for Rs 90

profit = 90/80 x 100 - 1= 12.5%
