Given Speed = 45km/h:

1 hour = 45 km

1 hour = 45 x 1000 = 45 000m

1 min = 45 000 ÷ 60 = 750 m

1 sec = 750 ÷ 60 = 12.5 m

-

Find distance covered in 30 sec:

1 sec = 12.5 m

30 sec = 12.5 x 30 = 375 m

-

Find distance of the pool:

375 - 130 = 245 m

-

Answer: The pool is 245 m long
