A train 150 m long is running at 72 km/hr. It crosses a bridge in 13 seconds. Find
the length of the bridge.

72/1= 72/3600 (1 hour is equal to 3600 seconds)

=2/100= 1/50 (simplified form)

So, we found that it covers 1 km in 50 seconds.

But we are looking for how much distance it will cover in 13 seconds.

So lets convert the km in m.

= 1k= 1000m

So, 1000/50

=20 m per sec

Now that we have gotten this, lets multiply this by 13 to find the length of the bridge.

20 x 13= 260 m

Therefore length of bridge is 260 m or 0.26 km.
