to pass the tunnel completely the train has to travel a distance of 300m
so,
D=300m
T=12s
S=D/T =300/12 =25m/s

natsudragneel710: The answer is 90 km

The correct answer is 25 m/sec.

Given: Length of train = 210m.

Length of tunnel = 90m.

Time taken to pass tunnel = 12 sec.

To Find: Speed of train.

Solution:

Total distance covered by train = 210 + 90

= 300m

Speed = \frac{Distance}{Time}

Speed = \frac{300}{12}

= 25 m/sec.

Hence, the speed of train is 25 m/sec.
