A train 240 m Long passes a pole in 24 seconds.How Long it Will take to pass a platform 670m long?

|| ✰✰ ANSWER ✰✰ ||

As we know That, when the Train Passes a Pole , It will cover Distance as much as Length of Train .

So,

Distance = Length of Train = 240m.

→ Time = 24 seconds.

So, Speed = Distance/Time .

→ Speed = 240/24 = 10m/s.

Now, The same Train has to cover a platform of length 670m.

Here ,

Total Distance will be = Length of Train + Length of Platform.

Total distance = 670 + 240 = 910m.

Speed of Train = 10m/s.

So,

Time = (Distance/Speed)

→ Time = (910/10) = 91 seconds.

Hence, The Train will take 91 seconds to pass The platform.

AnsWer:-

  \leadsto \:  \bf{ 91 \: s}

Solution:-

According to question;

→Initial distance which the train covers 240 m in time 24 seconds.

So, the speed of the train be;

{ \rm{ speed =  \frac{distance}{time} }} \\  \\  \leadsto \:  {  \tt{\frac{{ \cancel{240}}}{{ \cancel{24} }}}} \\  \\ { \sf{speed = 10 \: ms {}^{ - 1} }}

Now, the total distance of the train

{ \tt{670 + 240 = 910 \: m}}

Total time it would cover be,

{ \sf{time =  \frac{distance}{speed} }} \\  \\  \leadsto \:  { \tt{\frac{91{ \cancel{0}}}{1{ \cancel{0} }}}} \\  \\  { \boxed{ \bf{\leadsto91 \: s}}}

•°• It would take 91 s to pass a platform of 670 m.
