The initial velocity of the train is 36km/hr
So ,
Converting into si unit we get :-

36 * 5/18 = 5*2 = 10 m/sec

The final velocity is 54km/hr

Converting into si unit we get :-

54*5/18 = 3*5 = 15 m/sec

The time interval is given as 10 seconds

So,
We know that

Acceleration = v-u/t
Where v is final and u is initial velocities and t is the time taken for the velocity change.
So,

Putting the values

a =  \frac{15 - 10}{10}  =  \frac{5}{10}  =  \frac{1}{2}  = 0.5
So,

The acceleration is equal to 0.5 m/sec²
