Answer:

Given:

Initial velocity = 42km/hr = 11.667m/s

Final velocity = 54km/hr = 15 m/s

Time = 10 seconds

To Find:

  • Acceleration
  • Distance travelled by train

Solution:

Acceleration:

\huge\bold\red{\mathbb{V = U + AT}}

by above equation,we can derive-

a = v-u/t

》a = 15-11.667/10

》 a = 13.83 m/s^2

_____________________________

Distance travelled

\huge\bold\red{\mathbb{s = ut+1/2at^2}}

s = 11.667×10 + 1/2 ×13.83×100

s = 116.67+ 13.83× 50

s = 808.17 m
