Answer:

t1/t2 =beta/alpha

Explanation:

in first case,

u=0, t =t1, a=alpha,

so by using v=u + at,

we get v = alpha × t1

in second case,

v=0, t= t2, a= -beta , u= alpha × t1

so by using v=u + at

we get 0 = alpha × t1 - beta × t2

alpha × t1 = beta × t2

t1/t2 = beta/alpha
