A train acquires a velocity of 72 km /he in 10 sec after starting from rest . Find its acceleration and the distance travelled in this time.

Acceleration= v^(2) - u^(2)=2as

= v^(2) - u^(2)/ 2s = a

= 20*20 - 0 / 2*10 = a

= 400 / 20

=20m/s

displacement = v * t

= 20 * 10

= 200m
