Answer:

Initial numer of passengers=150

people get off train=(2/5)150=60

people left in train=150–60=90

number of passengers get into train=35

Number of passengers on train when it leaves the station=90+35=125

Answer:

      125 passengers

Step-by-step explanation:

total no of passengers = 150

no of people get off the train = 2 / 5 × 150 = 2 × 30 = 60ppl

no of ppl left in the train = 150 - 60 = 90ppl

no of people boarding the train = 90 + 35 = 125ppl

∴ no of passengers on the train is 1255
