Speed = distance/ time

S = ?

D= 15 km

T = 15 min

convert time into hour

15 min = 15/60 hour = 0.25 hour

now,

S = 15/0.25

S = 60 km/hr

According to the question, a train covers 20 km distance in 15 minutes with a constant speed, so here we have to determine the speed of the train,

We all know that Distance= Speed ×Time

So, Speed= Distance/Time

here in this question

time = 15 minutes = 1/4 hour = 0.25 hour

Distance= 20 kilometers

Constant speed=?

So the speed= distance/time = 20/0.25 km/hr = 80 km/hr

So the constant speed would be 80 km/hr
