A train covers 51km in 3 hours. Calculate its speed.how. far dpes the train go in 30 minutes
I'M HAVE FOund the speed but i'm not able to calculate the distance the train goes in 30 minutes
My was 510 but when i see back in answer it is shows 8.5 km

I know what u have done. You have actually multiplied speed with 30 minutes while the speed is in km/hr. see the calculation
s=d/t
=51/3
=17
2nd time=30 min=30/60hr
=1/2h
d=s*t
=17*1/2
=8.5kms
