In 1st case
Distance = 200 km
Speed = 50 km/h
So, time= distance /speed
= 200/50 = 4 h
In 2nd Case
Distance = 200 km
Speed = 75 km/h
So, time = distance/speed
= 200/75
= 8/3 h
So, Total distance = 400 Km
and total time = 4+8/3 = 20/3
So, Average Speed = total Distance Travelled/Total Time Taken
= 400/20/3
= 60 Km/h
Distance = 200 km
Speed = 50 km/h
So, time= distance /speed
= 200/50 = 4 h
In 2nd Case
Distance = 200 km
Speed = 75 km/h
So, time = distance/speed
= 200/75
= 8/3 h
So, Total distance = 400 Km
and total time = 4+8/3 = 20/3
So, Average Speed = total Distance Travelled/Total Time Taken
= 400/20/3
= 60 Km/h
