in the adjoining figure,the radius is 3.5 cm.find the perimeter of the quarter of the circle,correct to one decimal place

perimeter of quadrant=90/360×2πr+2r
1/4×22/7×2×3.5+2×3.5
=5.5+7
=12.5cm

Perimeter of the figure is radius +radius +arc

Here p=3.5+3.5+Circumference/4




Now circumference =2πr=2×22/7×35/10

Now circumference/4=22/4=5.5


Therefore
Perimeter of the given figure is 5.5+7=12.5
