Answer:

The train covers total distance in three legs , first 150 km. In 3 hours , next 125 km in 2 hours and last 180 km in 3 hours 30 minutes

We know Average speed = total distance / total time

Total distance in three legs = 150 + 125 + 180 kns = 455 kms.

Total time = 3 hours + 2 hours + 3 hours 30 minutes = 8 hours 30 minutes = 8.5 hours

Average Speed = 455 km / 8.5 hours

Average Speed = 53.53 km/hour

The average speed of the train is 53.53 km/hr.

Answer :The average speed of the train is 53.53 km/hr.
