Answer :-

v = 60m/s

s = 9,000m

Given:-

u = 0

a = 0.2 m /s²

T = 5 minutes = 300 s

To find :-

It's Final velocity (v) and distance travelled.

Answer :-

Since, it is given here acceleration is constant so, we can use equation of motion.

From first equation of motion,

 v = u + at

 v = 0 + 0.2 \times 300

 v = 60 m/s

Now , we have v = 60m/s.

Using 3 rd equation of motion,

 2as = v^2 - u^2

 2 \times 0.2 \times s = (60) ^2 - (0)^2

 0.4 \times s = 3600

 s = \dfrac {3600}{0.4}

s = 9,000m

hence, final velocity = 60m/s

and distance travelled = 9,000m.
