average speed=sum of velocities /2
=60+40/2
=50km/h

Anonymous: correct
abhay310: bro i think the options are wrong
Parthsharma5554: okkk
Parthsharma5554: v1 = 60 km/hr          t1 = 1 hr
x1 = vt = 60 km

v2 = 40 km/hr          t2= 1/2 hr
x2= 20 km

vavg  = x1 + x2 /  t1 + t2    =    160 / 3 km/hr    =53.3333333  km/hr
Parthsharma5554: this is the right answer
