1) U = 2 km/h = 2×(5/18) = 10/18= 5/9 m/s

2) V = 4 km/hr = 20/18 = 10/9 m/s

Therefore, V²-U² = 2aS

So, (5/9)² - (10/9)² = 2×5×S

Therefore, S = 0.1 m
