How will you prove the gaps are present between water molecules ?​

When a solute (like sugar or salt) is added to a definite volume of water, volume of water doesn't increase, only mass of liquid increases. Hence it proves that solute molecules have entered gaps present between water molecules.

It can prove practically as well as Therotically.

Take water in bowl & start it boiling. Since, after some time it started to get evaporate. Reason behind it is that bonds between them broke. Now if you consider that there is no gap in between them then this means they are highly stable i. e they can't be broken. But it is not seen according to experiment we conduct. So, as we can prove that there must be gap between water molecules.
