answer : option (d) 200m

explanation : Let length of train is L

speed of train = 60kmph = 60 × 5/18 = 50/3 m/s

speed of man = 45kmph = 45 × 5/18 = 25/2 m/s

a/c to question, both train and man are going same direction.

so, relative speed of train with Respect to man = 50/3 m/s - 25/2 m/s

= (25/6) m/s

train crosses man in 48 second

so, length of train = relative speed of train with respect to man × time taken

= 25/6 × 48 = 25 × 8 = 200m

hence, length of train is 200m
