 Speed \:of \: a \: train (s) = 70\:km/hr\\= 70 \times \frac{1000}{60} \: m/mi = \frac{3500}{3} \:m/mi

 a ) Distance \: travelled (d) = 4200 \:m

 \boxed { \pink { Time (t) = \frac{d}{s} }}

\implies t = \frac{4200}{\frac{3500}{3}}\\= 3.6 \: minutes

 b) If \: t = 45 \: minutes

 \implies d = s \times t \\= \frac{3500}{3} \times 45\\= 3500 \times 15 \\= 52500 \: m

 \mathtt{ \huge{ \fbox{Solution :)}}}

Given ,

Speed = 70 km/hr or 19.5 m/s

We know that ,

 \large  \mathtt{ \fbox{Speed =  \frac{distance}{time}  }}

a)

Time = 4200/19.5

Time = 216 sec

Hence , train takes 217 sec to cover 4200 m

b)

Distance = 19.5 × 2700

Distance = 52650 m

Hence , it travel 52380 m in 45 min
