speed =45km/hr

time=15mins

time=\frac{15}{60}hr

distance=speed × time

distance=45×\frac{15}{60}

GIVEN

➣ Speed = 45 km/hr

Time = 15 min

To find :-

Distance = ?

Firstly, convert time from mins to hr or you can also convert the speed from km/hr to m/s.

We will convert the time to seconds.

Time = 15 min

As we know,

1 hr = 60 min

Divide the value by 60

 =\dfrac{15}{60}

Both are divisible by 5.

(5×3=15)

(5×12=60)

  =  \dfrac{3}{12}

12 is divisible by 3

(3×4=12)

time =  \dfrac{1}{4} hr

As we know distance = Speed × Time.

So, put the values to find the distance.

45 \times  \dfrac{1}{4}

After doing division

Distance=~11.25km

Answer is distance = 11.25 km
