A train is travelling at speed 90 km per hour . Breaks are applied so as to produce uniform acceleration of -0.6 metre per second ^2. Find how far train will go before it is brought to rest

initial velocity=90kmh-¹=25ms-¹

final velocity=0,ms-¹

retardation=(-.6)ms-²

a=v-u/t
-.6=0-25/t
T=(-25)/(-0.6)
T=41.6 sec

2as=v²-u²
2×(-0.6)×s=0²-5²
-1.2*s=-25
s=(-25)/(-1.2)=20.8m
