Initial velocity=20m/s
Final velocity=0
Time=5 seconds
Acceleration =?

By using equation:-
$= > v = u + at \\ = > 0 = 20 + a \times 5 \\ = > - 5a = 20 \\ = > a = - 4$
As the Acceleration= (-4m/s^2) ,the Retardation will be 4m/s^2
