the train length is 100 m

singhgourav0565: Formula
kumarsuresh237p9qz6n: is it correct
kumarsuresh237p9qz6n: actually the train travels at a speed of 30 m/s but its is taking 20sec to cross the bridge
kumarsuresh237p9qz6n: it takes only 16.667 sec to cross 500m bridge so excess time for the length of train

in 20 sec the travelled distance by train
=30*20=600meter
actul length of bridge us 50meter
hence train length=600-500=100meter
hope it will help u....
